Checking a JRE result can mean checking interview selection, asking for your individual marks, or requesting a formal review. The 2026–27 recruitment notice specifies a review procedure. It does not identify a public online numerical-score portal, an automatic mark-disclosure process or a common result-release date. This does not mean the JRE has no marks, and the CRE electronic certificate system should not be labelled a JRE score portal.
Checked on 15 October 2026. This round’s JRE has not yet taken place; the exam is tentatively scheduled for 5 December 2026. The review rules below refer to the 2026–27 recruitment notice.
Where to check official result information
- CSB 2026–27 recruitment notice for the grade’s contacts and review rule in note 11.
- Official EO II recruitment timetable for EO II arrangements, not a common release date for every grade.
- Civil Service Examinations Unit: csbcseu@csb.gov.hk or (852) 2537 6429 for marks enquiries and examination arrangements. Direct grade-specific selection questions to the grade contacts in the notice.
Keep official correspondence and identify the recruitment cycle, post and decision. The absence of an interview invitation does not by itself tell you your mark or establish that a formal review deadline has begun. The published deadline is tied to notification of whether you are invited to a selection interview.
How to ask about individual JRE marks
The current notice checked does not describe automatic mark disclosure or a score-request web form. Ask the Examinations Unit whether your individual marks can be provided, what procedure applies and how identity is verified. A marks enquiry is not automatically a formal review request; disclosure and handling follow the authority’s response.
If you also want a review, do not assume waiting for a marks-enquiry reply extends the published review deadline. The seven-calendar-day rule below applies to review requests, not a stated deadline for every request for personal marks.
Formal personal-data access: the official form and submission route
For a formal personal-data access request, identify the recruitment cycle, your examination details and the records sought, such as your own Chinese- and English-task marks. The official personal information collection statement directs personal-data enquiries to the recruiting grade or department contact in the advertisement; first confirm the data holder and procedure.
For data handled by the CSB, consult its personal-data access or correction page for the official form and submission channels, including government e-submission. This is a general personal-data procedure, not an instant JRE score portal. The authority determines the available records and identity checks; access to an answer script or every assessment record is not guaranteed here.
JRE result review: the 2026–27 seven-day rule
- Retain the notification stating whether you are invited to attend a selection interview and establish its date.
- Email the JRE review request to csbcseu@csb.gov.hk within seven calendar days from that notification date. The notice excludes post, fax and in-person requests, and says late requests will not be entertained.
- The original marks may increase, decrease or remain unchanged. The notice does not promise an increase, an answer-script copy or a fixed processing period.
This is the rule in note 11 of the CSB 2026–27 recruitment notice. Use the relevant notice for another cycle; CRE review deadlines cannot be substituted.
JRE results versus CRE electronic certificates
The CRE has separate result and electronic-certificate arrangements on the official CRE page. They are not a public JRE score portal identified by the recruitment notice. Check whether your enquiry concerns the CRE, BLNST or JRE before choosing a system or applying a deadline.
Does passing guarantee an interview?
Recruiting authorities can set further shortlisting criteria. A written pass, an interview invitation and an appointment are different stages, subject to the applicable arrangements in the notice. The historical pass-rate data compares aggregate counts; it cannot reveal a personal mark or predict selection.
Choose the relevant next step
- Waiting for the exam notice: check the 2026 timetable.
- Application and preparation: read the JRE guide.
- Practice material: complete questions and model answers.
- Invited to interview: prepare for grade-specific selection.
